Back in 2009, we were just like you, trying to find a ticketing system that actually worked for us. At the time, we were committee members of a community theatre. When our ticketing provider went bust — taking our income with it, we searched high and low for an alternative. Nothing quite fit. We wanted flexibility, real-time cash flow, easy reporting, and above all, simplicity.
So we built it.
As a small software agency by day and theatre-lovers by night, we combined the best of what we'd seen with the features we knew were missing: the Little Box Office was born. The first users loved it, word spread and more organisations came on board. We grew from there.

LBO support staff are always so helpful - Nothing is too much trouble! We are a seafront theatre, with a stalls-only auditorium, which has just shy of 900 seats. In addition to our standard seating plan, LBO have set up a customised 4-tier plan for us, with a VIP section. Their attention to detail is excellent - They had the utmost patience when trying out a few colour changes for us! We have used LBO for many years to sell tickets online for our concerts and been happy with their service. We run an annual classical music festival of up to ten events in July and August and have been with the LBO since 2017. We were beginners with online booking with endless questions. They couldn't have been more helpful with setting up and it has gone smoothly every year. We have used little box office for many years. I did a lot of research around other providors who agreassivly pestered us to secure our business. They wanted me to sign up to a contract and pay a monthly fee. What attracted me to Little box office was the personal touch. I have never met in person but I feel I know them. They understand the needs of small theatre companies and have always been responsive to our requests. Producing reports is straitforward and billing fair and is after the event when the funds are in. Cant remember a single glitch in the system We are not looking elsewhere very happy thankyou!
